Horizon Science Academy Belmont High School
Founded in 2013, Horizon Science Academy Belmont is a charter public school serving about 800 students in grades K–12, offering a rigorous, STEM-focused education designed to prepare students as inquisitive, ethical, and college-ready leaders. The school fosters a diverse, high-expectation culture supported by strong collaboration among students, families, and staff, and is operated by Concept Schools, a nonprofit organization known for managing high-performing charter schools across the Midwest.

At HSA Belmont, our mission is simple: we prepare our students for higher education and beyond by creating an effective learning environment with high standards and expectations. We meet or surpass all state requirements for curriculum, offering advanced classes as well as a supportive environment characterized by committed parents, dedicated staff, and challenged students - making HSA Belmont the best choice for your child's academic success.

Concept Model
HSA Belmont is managed by Concept Schools, an award-winning charter management organization that assists over 40 schools across the Midwest. Since 1999, Concept has built a reputation for providing a wide array of services for its network of schools, including its STEM-focused curricula that has put students in a position to succeed after they graduate high school. It has been around almost as long as the charter school movement and has been a great partner in helping HSA Belmont get to the point it is at today.
