It continues to have an impact on elementary and secondary schools. ESSER III funding was awarded to enable Horizon Science Academy Belmont Charter School to develop a plan to safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the COVID -19 pandemic continuously.

Per grant guidelines, Horizon Science Academy Belmont Charter School will use ESSER III funds to ensure we can safely operate our schools and address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our students. More than 20% of the grant will go towards learning loss, and the remaining funds will support the health and safety of our facilities and our school community.
